6. Take care of the buttonholes.
7. Organise the ushers and make sure they distribute the Order of Service cards to the guests.
8. Stand on the groom's right side before the bride walks up the aisle.
9. Sign the register as a witness.
10. Say a speech or toast at the reception. This may include reading out any email or fax messages from absent guests.
11. Make sure that the flowers that the groom sends to the mother-of-the-bride reach her the day after the ceremony.
