Grooms Speech: What You Need To Say
At the wedding reception, it is tradition for the groom to say a speech in reply the the speech given by the Father-of-the-bride.
If you are the groom, you will need to thank your parents, and your bride's parents, as well as thanking the guests for attending your special day.
It is also common for the groom to propose a toast to everyone who has helped with the wedding arrangements.
Most importantly, in your speech you should acknowledge your new bride. You may want to tell the story of how you met, or when you realised she was 'the one'. You could say how fortunate you are to her in your life. A simple 'I Love You' may be all you need to say. Remember to compliment her and say how you feel about her.
